Nasty Grandmas and Flower Kids
Well dudes it looks like Im officially assimilated into Filipino culture, yesterday while I was doing some grocery shopping this cute filipina came up to me trying to get me to buy some bread and she spoke to me in Filipino. I gave her a blank look and she paused for a second and then said "oh, English right" then she proceeded to give me her sales pitch in English. On the contrary, I kept on getting stared at by some of the filipinas (some cute ones too) in some of the stores. Maybe they saw me and saw a big fat green card waiting for them haha. Later on that day I heard this huge commotion going in the center of the mall and so I had to find out what was going on. It was a thumping sound like some kind of concert was going on and as I got closer I heard the lyrics saying "sexy" with each drumbeat so this peaked my curiosity even more. What greeted my eyes was horrific! I think Brandonstein could have only appreciated it. It was a bunch of over the hill filipina grandmas shaking it onstage complete with hip gyrations when the lyrics "sexy" played. I couldn't bring myself to take any photos (sorry Brandon).
The hotel here is fantastic! One of my fave things about the hotel is the free breakfast buffet (surprise huh!) The food is absolutely top notch! Sushi, Indian, Yank, Filipino you name it! I swore I was gonna try something different this morning but as soon as I saw the veggie curry again I couldn't help myself and loaded up with some of that and some beef. They also got a great selection of fruit juice such as mango, grapefruit, orange, banana and oddly enough some red flavored liquid in a shapely jug with a smiley face on it. I didn't brave that one yet. Speaking of "oh yeah" got some details i'll tell you guys over Skype tomorrow.
Walking back to the hotel yesterday after dinner I was accosted by two little munchkins trying to sell me roses and they wouldn't take no for an answer. I must have told this little ragamuffin several times "No" as he was pleading for me to buy his rose. "please mister, please mister" he kept on saying and it got rather annoying. I decided what the crap and remembered I had two pesos in my side pocket and so I gave those to him. I thought that would end the pleading but then his sister saw and said "what about me mister, what about me mister" and I said I don't have anymore money (of course I did) and she kept on following me saying "what about me mister, what about me" I kept on pointing towards my side pocket showing I don't have anymore and so as a last ditch attempt to get rid of them I dug in and pulled out some lint accidently trying to show them I had no money left. They seemingly got a chuckle out of that and started giggling and then ran off like little Weng Wengs.
Getting a bit antsy about tonite since I will be meeting the class of 24 who I'm gonna be helping to train. I just hope they don't fall asleep and that I can stay awake. Wish me luck! Anyways bros, Im gonna hit the pool for some sunbathing. Ah, such is life! Sputnik, im probably gonna need your help again in searching for tickets on Yahoo Japan to the Hello Project concert on either Aug 2nd or 3rd. I hear the call of my wota brethren! Urya Oi! Urya Oi! Yeah-ohhhhh, Yeah-ohhhhh!

Riddle me this, Batman
What happened to the pictures from the Brew Ha Ha? Was it a Sputnik Conspiracy to keep his public drunkeness a secret? Did Brandon switch the CD for his Golden Girls Gone Wild DVD? Did Man-e-faces think it was so stupid he had all the copies eradicated from the face of the earth? Or did Rudy simply give me a blank CDR?
Whatever the cause, there are no pictures from the Brew Ha Ha. And, with Rudy overseas, it is likely to remain a mystery....

What's up dudes? Well I just completed my 11 hour odyssey flying from San Francisco to Seoul and now just waiting to get onboard the final leg of the trip watching soccer with a bunch of Korean sports wota. Sputnik was right about the waitress's on Singapore Airlines. Whooooo-eeeeee! They were friendly, helpful and most of all hot! I found myself doing some ogling. The online entertainment was fantastic! best Ive ever encountered. I had a chance to watch Yoji Yamada's new film Kabei, Flower in the Shadow, Stephen Chow's new film C7 and a Korean film called Ba!Bo. All were pretty damn good especially for Yamada's new film. Strongly recommend you check that one out Sputnik. Man the food too was pretty good, they even had Indian grub on the menu which I had some of as well. Lotsa Korean eye candy abound as I sit here and wait for the boarding call. About the only unpleasant part of the trip was for about 1/2 an hour when the Big O (you guys know who Im talking about) farted several times. man it was rank especially the last one which was particulary nasty. i feel bad for the Korean dude sitting opposite him. Anyways bro's, I gotta shut down since it looks like were getting ready to board soon. Here's a toast to you Grace as I leave your homeland! I wouldn't mind PARKing my ....uh, never mind.

MOMOKOOOOOOOOOOOOOH!
So I think I told you dudes when I was in Japan, the last night I was there I went to a concert where young to middle aged men went absolutely bonkers just like teenage girls for a teenage girl called Momoko. Hell man I was pushed back from the 3rd row back to the fifth row. I still vividly remember this one middle aged Japanese dude who pushed me out of the way pumping his fist in the air yelling "Momokohhhhhh" repeatedly at the top of his lungs as he pressed forward to try to get to the first row. I kind of felt bad for the main act since they never got such a crazed response when they got out on the floor. I still can't figure out what it is that the wota really like about this funny looking girl. Anyways heres Momokohhhhhhhh peddling some wota goods in English.
I much prefer the hotter Rika Ishikawa! Hot damn, I may have to sign up just to see more of her!

Brew Night
Hey Rockers, I am gonna pick up some clear, recyclable plastic cups for the Brew Night.
I think we should use a different cup for each brew for the following reasons:
1. We need to split up those fine beverages into three portions
2. We don't want to mix the tastes!
3. We need to see the full color so we can act like we know what we are talking about when critiquing said suds
5. It would be cool to write on the cups with ours ratings, comments etc.
5. I like going over the top with stuff like this, and it would be cool.

Ghost Documentary Opportunity
My buddy said he could use our help in doing a documentary on the G.I.S. (Ghost Investigation Society of Utah).

Really cool site. What do you guys think? He can set it up for us to go on an investigation with them this month if we want. He needs help with filming, writing, editing etc.
He wants to focus more on the people and what drives them to believe and their relationships rather than focus on the supernatural although that will be in the background.
Check out there site - I think it would be a lot of fun. My friend is an experienced documentary film maker.
Oh ya, he also knows a little person who starred in Troll 2 who owns a chocolate shop in the aves.... no kidding.
