Friendly Filipino Taxi Driver....

I'll keep this short and sweet unlike my last novel. So last week I took a cab to get to a karaoke bar. It was payday Friday here in the Philippines and they say people are extra spendhappy here that day. As I jumped into the cab i asked the good man "How much will this cost?" (it was only 4 blocks away) and he joyfully said "haha, it's payday Friday you ride for free!". Wow! It mustve been my lucky day to find such a generous cabbie! Arriving at the destination on a jam packed street, I was about to get out and he told me 100 pesos please ($2 U.S). I was rather taken back and dumbfounded for a sec and about to tell him "hey didn't you say i'd be riding for free earlier" but I just politely smiled, handed him his damn 100 pesos and got the hell out of the cab....what an @$$.
