For the purpose of this list, I have limited the choices to tried and true "classic" television. While there may be some stellar programs that are more contemporary (i.e. "Lost"), These did not make the list because they have yet to prove their worth in the test of time. So, there are no choices for TV shows that aren't at least a decade old.
The choices were made based on pure entertainment value and re-watchwability.
So, in no particular order, here are the best television shows ever made (in my most humble, yet rocking, opinion):
1. The Andy Griffith Show
2. The X-Files
3. The Twilight Zone
4. The Bob Newhart Show
5. The Mary Tyler Moore Show
6. Kolchak: The Nightstalker (Original, not the crappy remake)
7. The Outer Limits (original, not remake)
8. Cheers
9. Gilligan's Island
10. M.A.S.H
