Tales From the Emergency Room

Whats up mates! So I'm still jetlagged hence the computer use here at an internet cafe at 1:22am while Janice is off to work. I think I've only slept a total of 4 to 5 hours these past 48 hours. My internal clock is so messed up. Couldn't find any Tonkatsu at Narita coz it seems like that place closed down so I had to settle for a tasty bowl of Sweet Beef Udon soup.

So last Monday Janice had an accident to where she bruised her nose and both eyes and what was worrying was that her nose would still randomly bleed so for some reason so we decided its best she gets checked out by a doc at the hospital to make sure everything was okay up there. While waiting there I saw and hear some rather interesting stuff in the Emergency Room. One 5 month pregnant lady had apparently "accidently" downed some Raid insecticide. No idea how that happens accidently. Some german tourist dude in his late 40s probably was getting a urine sample and a head xray for a fracture. Apparently he must have gotten in some fight in the red light district which probably accounted for the xray...urine sample probably accounts for something else that probably happened in their as well hehe. Then there was some Indian dude who came in as well who took some drugs and got a potential fracture and urine sample. Note to self...stay away from red light district!

Man, well its 1:31am and I'm freakin wide awake. Perhaps I'll go leave some mindless status updates on Facebook about it. Rudy sayz Jetlag + Migraine = No Sleep. Wurd! Anyways mates i'll pop in again sometime with hopefully some piccies and video. I took some footage of the Sake at the Tokyo airport and mates it was fantastic! I'll upload that sucker soon.

Sunday Evening At The Movies : Witchfinder General

Decided that I was going to finally break out some dvd's that have been sealed forever and finally give them a watch and was I glad that I did! Found this Vincent Price gem in my collection
where he plays a Witchfinder during Medieval England where he gets his thrills torturing people and having his way with helpless country girls. As always Vincent Price does a masterful job again playing the bad guy. Some generous soul uploaded it to Youtube so if you want you could watch it all online ...or perhaps a movie nite flick. Enjoy!

Sociopath checklist

While Brandonstein and Rudy debate U.S. foreign policy, I thought I would take the opportunity to put up something interesting I found. A checklist for sociopathic identification.


Here it is:


In order for a person to be a sociopath, at least 14 items from this list must be present as permanent traits. For example item 18: almost everyone has told a lie at some points in their life, but item 18 only applies if a person uses lies as a habitual strategy.

[] 1 Burdens others with guilt while appealing to family ties, friendship, professional ethics;
[] 2 evades responsibilities or pushes them onto others;
[] 3 remains vague in the communication of his/her claims, needs, feelings and opinions;
[] 4 often gives vague answers;
[] 5 changes opinion, behaviour and feelings depending on people and situations;
[] 6 makes use of logical arguments to camouflage claims;
[] 7 wants to make others believe that they have to be perfect, that they can never change their mind, that they have to know everything and have to respond immediately to claims and questions;
[] 8 disputes the qualities, the ability and the personality of others;
criticises without giving that impression, despises and condemns;
[] 9 lets others convey his/her messages;
[] 10 creates havoc (fights), creates distrust, divides to be better able to rule;
[] 11 positions himself/herself as a victim to elicit compassion;
[] 12 ignores or does not honour requests even if he/she declares that they will be taken care of;
[] 13 misuses ethical principles of others to serve own interests;
[] 14 threatens in underhanded ways or commits open chantage (blackmail);

[] 24 often uses the very last moment to give commands to others or to instigate them to act;

[] 26 he/she exerts himself/herself in making compliments in order to gain your sympathy, gives presents, becomes suddenly very caring for you;

[] 30 is the subject of conversations all the time, even if he/she is not present.

Honestly, use that as an evaluation of the "-Izzles" in our lives. Scary, isn't it? Isn't it?
